About

Marjorie Alexander, a California native, has dabbled in a dozen different art forms from sculpture and macro photography to painting and stagecraft. After falling in love with moving images through a television analysis and production course in 2002 she has focused her efforts towards creating poignant and moving films.

Raised bicoastally and well traveled, paired with a college education heavy on film analysis and anthropology, she is always considering her audience from development to packaging.

Now in Los Angeles, working as a Producer and Script Consultant, Marjorie is in development on her first feature film, Mourning People, with Director Sherri Kauk. Alexander and Kauk have collaborated on several projects to date including their latest 35mm short film, Urban Dwellers.
